What types of womans car insurance can you get?

There are three types of cover available to everyone when they want to purchase car insurance however the basic types of cover are restrictive and sometimes not suitable. Third Party Only Cover

This is the most basic type of cover available and the minimal required by law. This type of cover offers very little support and insurance cover for you the policy holder, it essentially allows you to legally drive your car on public roads and offers, as the name indicates, full third party cover for the protection of others.

If you are involved in a fault accident (when you are at fault) it ensures that the other party(s) involved in the accident are covered, you unfortunately will not be covered for any damage caused to your own vehicle. If you are involved in a non fault accident (when someone else is at fault) then you would claim off the third party for the damage caused to your vehicle. You would also lose out if your vehicle was stolen as you would not be able to claim.

Because this type of cover is very basic many insurers will not offer this type of cover anyway, particularly if you have a new or expensive car, would you want that type of cover anyway? Third Party Fire and Theft

This type of insurance cover is essentially third party only with the extension of fire and theft cover being added, so if you car was stolen or burned you could at least make a claim.

Comprehensive Cover

This cover offers you the best protection; you are covered for accidental damage, fire, theft or malicious damage to your own car, or any damage you cause to other people and their property. This type of insurance is essential if you have a new or valuable vehicle.
