The new digital, film free speed monitoring system, SPECS, is set to revolutionise motoring in Britain, for many it signals the death of sense and sensibility for the nations car drivers. Manufactures of the SPECS system obviously see the system as being more fair to the motorist and safer for other motorists as they state that vehicles will be able to regulate their speed over a distance rather than get snapped in one place and they believe motorists will not be left having to brake heavily when they see a camera - proof will be in the pudding, only time and future results will be able to deliver the evidence need to report on this important development.
