In keeping with their strict code of conduct the FSA (Financial Services Authority) have drawn a swift sword to Herefordshire based insurance broker Powell Price and Company.

The Insurance broker was found guilty by evidence and admission of not forwarding client funds onto the appropriate insurance companies when policies were sold. This in itself is not only inappropriate by standards laid down by the FSA but ethically disgraceful, leaving the innocent customer without the insurance cover they thought they had purchased. The insurance broker was found guilty of leaving sixteen clients without insurance having used those clients money to fund business expenses as a result of a serious down turn in business trade in 2006.

Taking it on the chin as being solely responsible for the corrupt behavior of the insurance broker Director, Nigel Layton was banned by the FSA. Any dealings like those conducted by Layton and his insurance broker firm are not tolerated under the strict rules of the FSA, aside from the ethics involved.
