Mobility Scheme for Young Disabled Drivers

Added - 23/05/2007

It is a much unprompted fact that young disabled drivers in the UK can start learning to drive at the age of sixteen years old and under the Mobility scheme they might also qualify for a motor car as well. The Mobility scheme is a fantastic opportunity for young disabled drivers to get a new car that is covered by car insurance, taxed and mechanically maintained all for a monthly fee that is generously subsidised by the Government.

Working just like a normal hire purchase agreement the Mobility scheme enables the applicant to choose from a variety of cars and then get the scheme to settle the appropriate monthly fees, the good news for young disabled drivers goes even further than having to find things such as cheap car insurance with the fact the Mobility scheme can also help fund driving lessons and the extra Pass Plus scheme.

Working alongside the Government the Mobility Scheme is run as a registered charity and does rely on donations etc to help promote its presence. If you or someone you know want to apply for the Mobility scheme visit mobility.co.uk or call their hotline on 0845 456 4566
