There seems to be a never ending presentation of car insurance aggregators and price comparison companies exploding onto the scene but who is actually offering you up to the minute discounts and direct access to purchase the insurance - Talk Once!
As the playing field for car insurance gets tougher there seems to be some consolation in a new method of camaraderie called network broker partnerships. This idea of clubbing together to share the marketing experience is nothing ground breaking but the concept does appear to be a popular amongst the broking community.
Two companies heavily committed to managing such networks are Purple Partnerships and Westinsure. Purple Partnerships the newest of the organisations is looking to achieve a fifty strong network of car insurance brokers and premium generation of 100 million pounds by 2011.
Pundits analysing the motor insurance industry are still laying heavy emphasis on the insurance aggregators market place that is currently dominating the headlines within the industry. Network broker partnerships should assist in helping brokers market their wears but again at the cost of yet another third party acquisition cost.
It still seems incomprehensible to us here at the car insurance news desk that once again it is a third party element that has reigned in the leashes of marketing for those who have left the art slip away from their control.
