BIBA suggest drivers shop around for cheaper motor insurance
BIBA Executive Graeme Trudgill has suggested that motorists looking for car insurance should indeed shop around for cheap car insurance quotes in order to get the best deal they can.
He reiterated the fact as we have recently reported that many driver should shop around when it comes to the time of renewal of their motor policies.
We recently reported in our insurance news items that loyalty seemed to be taking a back seat on the modern insurance consumer market and in most cases now motorist were in fact using their renewal letters as guidelines to get cheap car insurance quotes elsewhere, mostly on price comparison websites.
With average car insurance premiums now hitting around £620 its not surprising that so many male and female drivers of all ages are now searching everywhere, particularly the internet for cheap car insurance quotes. The broker market will be smarting at more emphasis on price, in a market that is already being squeezed of its traditional loyalty factor, but motorists are being hit hard from all angles at the moment.
Fuel prices were up again in April and May and there appear to more signs of more rises in 2008 so its no wonder that drivers are looking to save money where ever they can.
